Parents joined the Form Morning which aims at providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the Middle Years Programme (MYP). The event featured three distinct sessions designed to offer valuable insights into different aspects of the students' learning experience.
The first session, led by the form tutors, presented an overview of the MYP curriculum highlighting the academic expectations, systems and processes in place to support student learning. This session also included a demonstration lesson by one of our teachers, allowing parents to experience first-hand how learning takes place in the classroom.
The second session focused on the subject 'Individuals and Societies,' and how it fosters critical thinking and real-world connections among students.
The final session, conducted by our school counsellor, addressed the vital topic of student well-being. The counsellor discussed the support systems available for students and the importance of fostering a balanced and healthy school life.
Parents actively participated in discussions and expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to gain deeper insights into their children's educational journey. The positive feedback received underscored the success of the event in strengthening the school-parent partnership.
