The program emphasizes hands-on learning through practical training, real-world industry exposure, and expert-led masterclasses, workshops, project-based learning, and case studies, providing a strong foundation for future success.
With a diverse range of career pathways, IBCP empowers students to make informed choices aligned with their aspirations. Beyond career-specific expertise, the program cultivates transversal skills, ensuring adaptability across various professional domains.
Upon successful completion, students receive the IBCP Award, which holds equivalent recognition to the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP). Additionally, students earn university credits and official transcripts for their career-related studies, further enhancing their academic and professional prospects.
With a strong focus on practical application, the IBCP prepares students for both higher education and the professional world through an interdisciplinary approach. With personalized subject choices, mandatory internships or project work, and a career-focused curriculum, the program offers a targeted learning experience aligned with students’ predetermined career aspirations. Specifically designed for those pursuing careers in design or management, the IBCP provides a clear pathway to their chosen fields.
The Government of India recognizes the IBCP as a 12th-grade qualification, with certification from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) ensuring acceptance by Indian universities. Additionally, the program is widely acknowledged by international educational institutions and universities, offering students diverse higher education opportunities worldwide.
The IB Career-related Programme (IBCP) is a 12th-grade equivalent qualification that combines 2 to 4 DP subjects, 4 core components, and career-related studies (CRS). It is ideal for students pursuing careers in design or management.
IBCP is designed for students who want to combine career-focused learning in design or business management with academic rigor. It helps them develop critical thinking, communication, and cross-cultural engagement while applying theoretical knowledge to real-world settings.
Pathways School Noida has partnered with two IB-accredited career-related study providers:
Students are assessed through a combination of IB exams, internal evaluations, and CRS assessments. DP subjects are evaluated through IB-written exams at the end of two years. The CP Core is internally assessed, except for the Reflective Project, which is graded by the IB. CRS assessments are conducted by SCAD or SUMAS, based on the chosen pathway. Additionally, students undergo continuous assessments at school to track progress.
Graduates receive an IBCP Award from the IB, a university transcript from SCAD or SUMAS (including GPA and completed courses), and an IB Statement of Results Certificate. They also receive progress reports on Toddle throughout the program.
No, students must choose between IBDP and IBCP based on their career aspirations. Both programs cannot be taken together.
