Pathways School Noida is authorized for the International Baccalaureate Career-related Program (IBCP), a dynamic educational pathway tailored for students aged 16-19 years. Designed to meet the unique needs of those engaged in career-related education, the IBCP opens doors to a myriad of opportunities, preparing students for specific careers, industries, or positions.
Embarking on the IBCP journey means students can choose a career specialization, acquiring in-depth knowledge and practical skills. The program emphasizes hands-on learning through practical training, exposing students to real-world industries. Expert-led masterclasses, workshops, and case studies deepen understanding and skill development, providing a robust foundation for future endeavours.
The IBCP at Pathways School Noida offers a diverse range of career pathways, empowering students to make informed choices aligned with their aspirations. Beyond career-specific skills, the program fosters the development of transversal skills, ensuring a versatile skill set applicable across various professional domains. Students receive an IBCP Certificate upon the successful completion of the program which is at par with the Diploma received by the IBDP students.
Differentiating the IBCP from the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP), the IBCP focuses on practical application. It prepares students for both higher education and the professional landscape through an interdisciplinary approach. Personalized subject choices, mandatory internships, and a more focused curriculum distinguish the IBCP's narrower scope of focus from the IBDP's broader, university-oriented approach.
The Government of India recognizes the IBCP as a 12th-grade qualification. Association of Indian Universities certification facilitates acceptance by Indian universities, and the program is widely acknowledged by international educational institutions.
IBCP is a 12th grade equivalent. It includes 2 to 3 DP subjects, 4 core components and career-related study (CRS). The program is ideal for students interested in a specific career.
The CP is for students who wish to engage in career related learning while gaining transferable skills in applied knowledge, critical thinking, communication and cross-cultural engagement.
The school has partnered with the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) as the school’s strategic Career Related Study provider. SCAD provides a learning pathway for students to begin their journey toward an art and design career by completing university-level courses at SCAD before beginning full-time studies. Via specialized course tracks, IBCP students can earn up to 25 college credit hours.
